My nieces and nephw are here playing monopoly with their pop (my dad0 and they are loud, especially little Ruthie and Riven, but Luke is a humble dude that only says something when he needs to. I can tell who is talking, yelling or just making noise for noise stake.
Innovation is pretty dang amazing! I am saying this because without my Cochlear Hearing Device, I would be living in total deafness…absolute silence. It is a joy to be hearing things all the time and a true blessing.
When people ask me how well I can hear, the answer is almost every sound that a hearing person with normal hearing can. Leaves rustling as they roll across concrete, dogs nails tapping on tile floors the crinkling of candy wrappers. I love hearing the birds chirping in the trees next to where I park my truck as I eat lunch.
I do not have to be in the same room to hear anything, and have long since discovered how easy it is to be rather nosy and eavesdrop on coonversations. You just know who is talking to who.
Most of all, I enjoy listening to people’s voices and taking in how unique each voice is, you can know who said good morning and know who said that before raising you head to acknowlege them
Now I need to get shut eye for tomorrow morning’s workout.
