Remember, you will have disappointing days, feeling way off your routine and beating yourself up, but do not give up and chalk it off to the next day. I have found, far too many times, that trying to start over the next day is far more detrimental to your confidence and self worth and determination to keep on doing better.
Now, I have a few hours before it ticks midnight and energy is still plentiful for the one hour I need to complete that other task that I do everyday,, working out. I only managed time for a few pull ups this morning and that is not going to cut it.
When you train, your body gets restored, your mental health climbs out of the rabbit hole it was starting to dig deeper into, and your spirit feels less burdensome. Not to say exercise is the end all, be all of everything that ails us.
I still need my prayers and relationship with Jesus, which is what I chose to do first this morning with the limited time I had. It was my fault for oversleeping a bit. However, I am grateful that God always gives us time to snap out of our bad actions and start putting our good actions together.
Remember, ’til it ticks midnight, it is not over! Do Not Give Up!
