Reflective

This week had me being reflective of the day 22 years ago, every time I wrote 9/11 on my worksheets, it crossed my mind of all the lives that were loss and what they could’ve still been today. It is good to be reflective of the past as it keeps the heart from being calloused (as long as you don’t use the past as an excuse for bitterness).

As I get nearer to 40 (sorry Mom and Dad), I don’t want to live with regret on jobs and careers that I could’ve done. Places that I could’ve lived, people that I could’ve known more before they drifted off.

We have so much to be grateful for, but I agree with Beau, the more we focus on God, live with our eyes towards Jesus, the less likely or often we are to regretfully do things that harm others or put us in a bad light.  ”
